Following on from the success of The Voice Outside songwriting and recording project in 2011 (documented on this website – see individual names for song details), Arts Participation and Expression presented APEX LIVE in 2012, a rehearsal, composition, performance and DJ skills-based programme.

This project gave participants, all with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities, the chance to promote their songs to a wider audience, learning technical and amplification skills alongside digital media/publicity tuition. APEX LIVE also provided access to live DJ’ing skills and covered other performance areas such as poster design and publicity via websites/social networking.
